Agnes Margaret
(Chylik) Reiser was born on June 9, 1924 in Pine City to Joseph and Rosyla (Slaby) Chylik. She was 1 of 5 children,
and the only surviving member of her family.
She grew up in Pokegama Township on a farm. At the age of 13, Agnes was crowned Strawberry Queen of Pine City.
On Feb. 27, 1949 in Beroun, MN,
Agnes married Kenneth Reiser. To this union 7 children were born; Gareld, David, Paul, RoseAnn, Joan, Donald and Lisa.
From those children came 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In her lifetime, Agnes' vocations varied from working in the Beroun Kindergarten school,
to a bakery, to the American Legion to Leutke's and more. In every job she had and everything she did, she gave
her all.
She loved to garden both
vegetables and flowers. She loved to have family together and have big meals, spending time playing cards and gabbing.
She had a gift of "gab".
Agnes was a very generous, caring woman. Baking and cooking, caring and praying for others in many occasions and circumstances.
She had a true servants heart and she always did so humbly, graciously and lovingly. Her life can be defined by one
word: LOVE. She loved everyone and was loved by so many.
She is preceeded in death by her husband of 50 years Kenneth Reiser, and her parents and
siblings. She is survived by her children, Gareld Reiser of Sandstone, MN., David (Lynn) Reiser of Braham, MN., Paul
(Joyce) Reiser of Missouri., RoseAnn (Philip) Raivo of Hinckley, MN., Joan Reiser of Pine City, MN., Donald (Martha) Reiser
of Big Lake, MN., and Lisa Reiser of Pine City, MN., 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, special friend Carol Luedtke
of Pine City, MN., many brothers and sister-in laws, and many beloved friends. She has blessed many and will be missed
by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial
was celebrated Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pine City, MN. with the Rev. Fr.
David Forsman officiating with the interment in the St. Joseph's Calvary Cemetery of Beroun. The active casket bearers
included Ken Reiser, Jake Reiser, Ben Reiser, Luke Reiser, Bruce Hancock, and Paul Raivo. Honorary casket bearers included
Carol Luedtke, Mandi Yoder, Gloria Rolstad, Shauna Reiser, and Patty Kruse.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Funeral and Cremation Service~Swanson Chapel of Pine
City, MN.
