Mark Wing, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Rush City, Minnesota
on November 11, 2008.
He was born June 15, 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from Lindstrom High School and
was a lifelong resident of Lindstrom and Rush City, Minnesota. Mark was a Vietnam Veteran and member of the VFW. He enjoyed
spending his time with many good friends. His employment history included farming, the Minnesota Highway Department and various
trucking jobs.
He is survived by his former wife and
good friend Lynda of Rush City; daughter Tracy (Jon) Gorman of Rush City; son David (Ann) Wing of Texas; grandchildren Ashley,
Samantha, Derek and Joshua of Rush City ; grandchildren Joel, Chad, Jesse, Samantha, Karyssa and Trisha of Texas; brother
Scott of Osceola ,WI; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard
and Margaret Wing.
A time of visitation and reviewal
will be Saturday, November 22nd from 1-3 p.m. at the Olson Chapel in Rush City with a potluck at the Rush City Municipal for family
and friends starting at 3pm.
Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis,
Minnesota at a later date.
