Peterson, the third son born to Russell and Marjorie (Erickson) Peterson, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October
11, 2008 at his home in Grasston, Minnesota. He was 66 years of age.
He grew up and attended school in St. Paul, Minnesota
and was married to Marilyn Kronschnable on March 12, 1966. Robert worked for the St. Paul Regional Water Services for 22 years.
He and Marilyn purchased a cabin at Grasston, Minnesota in 1987. In 1995 they built a house on that same property and
moved there permanently.
Robert was a spiritual man and was saved at the young age of 12 at Faith Bible Evangelical
Church in East St. Paul. Robert enjoyed old time country music, especially Hank Williams. He also enjoyed hunting deer and
small game, and spent a large amount of his free time working in their yard. He always preferred to be outdoors.

is survived by his wife Marilyn; children: Robert Peterson of Grasston and Kristine of Pine City, MN; grandchildren: Cassandra,
Robert Jr., Pamela and Bryce all of Winthrop, MN; sisters Barbara Kronschnable and Marcie Brown, both of St. Paul; brothers:
Russell & Joanne Peterson of Grasston, James & Kathy Peterson of Phoenix, AZ, and Richard & Pamela Peterson of
Glendale, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Marjorie Peterson, and brothers-in-law Alfred Kronschnable
and Richard Brown.
A time of visitation and reviewel starts at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Swanson Funeral
Chapel in Pine City followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Chaplain Bill Steinke will officiate. Honorary urn bearers are
Robert Peterson, Kenneth Kronschnable, Jeff DeGree, and Donald Kronschnable.
