Elden Lockrem, age 85 of Pine City died Saturday, March
24th at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.He is survived by his wife Fay of Pine City; son Tom (Sue) Lockrem
of Brooklyn Park; grandchildren: Lisa
(Greg) Forbes of Dayton, Greg Lockrem of Brooklyn Park, Jeneen Lockrem of
Rogers, Brandi Lockrem of Brooklyn Park; 11 great grandchildren; and niece Kathy
(Bruce) Carlson of Tower. Elden is preceded in death by his parents Peter and Albina
Lockrem; two sisters; one brother; and one grandson.Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00
p.m. Thursday, March 29th at Trinity Lutheran Church located at 202 Commercial Avenue North, Sandstone, MN 55072. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 28th
from 5-8 p.m. at the Swanson Funeral
Chapel in Pine City and one hour prior to
the funeral at the church.Inurnment will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Oakwood Cemetery in Mora on Friday. Arrangements are with the Funeral and Cremation Service, Swanson
Chapel of Pine City.
