Bette Root

Bette Root, age 57, of Pine City, died Saturday, April 25th at the Lakeside Health Care Center in Pine City.  She is survived by her children: Jason Sauter of Pine City, Justin Root of Brook Park, Amanda Root of Brook Park, & Abby Root of Pine City.  She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, her father Marvin Nelson of Wells, Minnesota, and a brother Bruce Nelson of Pine City.  Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 noon on Friday, May 1st at Swanson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bruce Thompson officiating.  Interment will be in the Birchwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5-8 pm and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday, all at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.
