Virgene "Jeanne" Marie Nelson

Virgene "Jeanne" Marie Nelson (formerly from Pine City) passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Andover at the age of 88. Jeanne was born November 7, 1927 to George (Walter) and Bertha (Saren) Eng in Westrock, Minnesota. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Douglas of Andover, brother George (Sandy) Eng of Grantsburg, Wisconsin, grandson Jeff (Rose) Douglas, great grandchildren Justin Peasha, Joshua Douglas, Natasha Douglas, and Shane Douglas, many other relatives and friends. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents George and Bertha Eng, siblings: Doris (Art) McFarlane, Dennis (Annmarie) Eng, Clyde (Betty) Eng, Audrey (Bernard) McGeary, son-in-law Barry Douglas and grandson Jon Douglas. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13th at Birchwood Cemetery in Pine City.
