Paul Patrick Skadsheim

Paul Patrick Skadsheim of Pine City passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis at the age of 53.Paul was born in Park Rapids, Minnesota on November 12, 1963. He spent many years growing up in White Earth, Minnesota. In 1980, after moving to Minneapolis he met Brandye Burchard and they were married on February 17, 1984. While living in Minneapolis, Paul attended Dunwoody School of Technology and received an AA degree in Automotive Technology. Their first son PJ was born in 1983 and Kevin was born in 1985. Nothing made him more proud than his children.In 1994, Paul and Brandye moved to Pine City and bought a hobby farm. They enjoyed their life together in the country. Paul loved spending time on his farm; relaxing by playing his guitar, gardening, hunting or just enjoying nature and his animals. In his life, he most enjoyed being with his wife and children. He will be dearly missed.He will be dearly missed.Paul is survived by his wife Brandye of Pine City, children: PJ Skadsheim and Kevin Skadsheim both of St. Louis Park and his mother Tonie Vizenor of White Earth, many other relatives and friends.Memorial services for Paul will be at 2:30 PM; Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.   Visitation is planned for one hour prior to the service at the chapel.Funeral arrangements for Mr. Paul Skadsheim are entrusted to the Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City, Swanson Chapel . www.funeralandcremationservice.com
