Marcellus John "Bud" Ertz

Bud Ertz of Rush City died Saturday at the Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming, MN. at the age of 92 years. Bud Ertz is survived by his children; Mary Rohlf of Rush City, Roger and Kathy Ertz of Pine City, Jay Ertz of Douglas, AZ, Patricia and Bennie Johnson of Grantsburg, WI., Jim Ertz of Rush City, Gary Ertz of Princeton, Bob Ertz of Brook Park, 16 grandchildren; David, Paula and Brad, Lisa and Mark, Andrea, Beth, Christie, Brian and Natalie, Craig and Chris, Heather and Brett, Tiffany and Jeremy; 27 great grandchildren and his sister Nora Mattson of Hibbing. Bud Ertz was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Julia (Schmitz) Ertz, wife Millie (Tiedeman) Ertz and four siblings. Fr. Corey Belden celebrated a Mass of Christian Burial for Bud Ertz; 10:30 a.m. on Thursday (April 15, 2010); at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rush City. A time of visitation and reviewal was observed one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the church and Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m at the Olson Chapel in Rush City. Bud Ertz was interred in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery of Rush City.
