John J. Kozisek Sr.

John Kozisek Sr. , of Pine City, former retired sheriff of Pine County, died Wednesday, May 26th in Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 86.  He is survived by sons John Kozisek Jr. of Pine City, Casey Kozisek Sr. and his wife Kim of Pine City, 4 grandchildren, Mary, John III, Casey Jr., & Jaime, and 3 great grandchildren, Chase, Chance, & Skye.  He is also survived by a brother George Kozisek of OregonThere will be a memorial visitation on Friday evening, June 4th, from 5-8 p.m. at Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.  A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5th at Birchwood Cemetery in Pine City followed by a luncheon gathering for friends and relatives at 1:30 p.m. at the Pine City American Legion.
