Lorraine Marion (Swing) Mold passed away very unexpectedly; Friday June 4, 2010 at her home in Rush City, MN. at the age of 76 years. September 17, 1932 Lorraine was born to Melvin and Annie Swing in Red Wing, MN. She spent most of her childhood on the family farm in Rush City, MN. She graduated from Rush City High School in 1952. Lorraine loved getting together with her church family; especially the quilting women who meet on Wednesdays. She loved cooking, gardening and visiting with anyone who would stop by her house. But more than anything, Lorraine loved her very large family. She would show you pictures and tell stories of every first tooth, new job, football game, dance, hunting and fishing experience, snowmobile race, hair cut, new car, school grades, etc and you might get to hear the stories more than once.
