Adell Cheryl Hofer

Adell Cheryl Hofer, born Adell Anderson on August 26, 1952, in Rush City, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, May 1st, 2026 at her home in Princeton surrounded by family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and resilience. 

She grew up in east‑central Minnesota and attended Rush City High School, where she was known for her bright personality, kindness, and the friendships she carried throughout her life.

Adell earned her degree in accounting from Lakewood Community College. She worked tirelessly to build a strong and stable life for her children.

Adell married John Richard Hofer in September of 1983. They shared a loving marriage and built a successful business together as President and Vice-President of Hofer Trucking Inc. They worked side by side, creating a company rooted in hard work and integrity. After John’s passing on November 13, 2001, Adell continued to show her remarkable perseverance by starting her own lawn service company, demonstrating her independence, resourcefulness, and unwavering work ethic.

Adell was a charismatic person with a natural gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her warmth, humor, and open‑hearted nature made everyone feel at home. Her determination, strength, and devotion to her family and friends was inspiring.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Danielle Delores Hofer and Jonathan Cory Anderson, and her cherished grandson, Cooper Anderson, who brought her immense pride and joy, along with many family members and dear friends who felt like family.

Adell's funeral service will be at Karmel Covenant Church in Princeton where family and friends can gather to honor her remarkable journey and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her. Details to follow.
