Arnold "Arnie" John Johnson

Arnold “Arnie” Johnson was born April 24, 1933 to John M. and Agnes (Berntson) Johnson. He was born on the family farm in Rushseba Township, Minnesota and lived his entire life of 93+ years on the same farm. He attended grades 1-4 in country school, then went on to graduate from Rush City High School in 1951.

Arnie married his wife, Joyce, in 1971 and together they raised three sons. He farmed his dairy operation until 1979. He later worked at the Amber Mill in Rush City for 19+ years.

Arnie is survived by his wife Joyce, sons Mike (Dede), Anders (BobbiJo), Martin (Rachel), grandchildren Rachel (Josh), Tyler (Emma), Eddie (Kaylee), Lief, Patrick, Lance, Olivia (Gideon), Emilee, Isaac, Katarina.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four older brothers.

Per his request, there will be no formal funeral. The family will in the future have a private family gathering to celebrate Arnie’s life. The family requests that any memorial gifts be donated to the donor’s charity of choice.
