Betty Ann Simon, age 88, of Rush City passed away on July 8th, 2026.
She was born on December 25th, 1937 to Lester and Anna (Danner) Christensen in Braham, Minnesota.
On December 24th, 1960, Betty married Lyle Simon, and together they raised eight children. She was also blessed with 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Betty was known for her strong, feisty spirit and her love of playing 6-5-4, cards and visiting the casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lyle; her daughters Debbie and Joan; grandson Eric; sister Jane; brother Dale.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held 11 AM to 2 PM; Friday, July 31st at the Rush City Community Center. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
