Bonnie J Vink of Pine City, age 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024, after a long battle with breast cancer.
Bonnie Jean Benshoof was born on December 29, 1950 to Vernon and Vera (Gearman) Benshoof in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from Harding High School.
On May 27, 1972 she married Rod Vink and they made their home with their three children in Woodbury, Minnesota. After retiring from 3M after 37 years, they relocated to Pine City, Minnesota.
When not working, Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and crafting greeting cards and paper crafts. She was also a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants of Minnesota and enjoyed researching her ancestry.
Bonnie is survived by husband Rod Vink of Pine City; children Star (Tony) Garcia of Richfield, Caitlin Klein of Hastings, and Corry (Danielle) Vink of West Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Desmond, Patrick, Abigail, and Lennon; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents Vern and Vera Benshoof; brother David Benshoof; sister-in-law Violet Benshoof.
Memorial services for Bonnie: 11 AM; Saturday, March 23rd at the Cottage Grove United Church of Christ, a time of visitation for friends and family 1 one prior to the service and lunch served immediately following the service all at the church.Memorials preferred to the:
