Carole Pederson of Pine City passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale at the age of 79.
Carole Jean LaShomb was born January 28, 1944 to James and Dorothy (Sours) LaShomb in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In 1962, she graduated with Honor Society honors from Alexander Ramsey High School in Roseville, Minnesota. Carole attended Mankato State College always making the Dean's List; in 1996 she graduated with her teaching certificate.
In July of 1967 she married Loren Pederson, a farm boy from Mahnomen, Minnesota. They set up housekeeping in Moorhead where they lived for many years.Carole is survived by her sister Marlene Dullinger of Pine City; brothers Robert LaShomb, David (Marilyn) LaShomb, Roger (Barbara) LaShomb; nieces; nephews; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Art & Dorothy LaShomb; husband of 40 years Loren Pederson; brother Arthur LaShomb; brother-in-law Arnold Dullinger; nephews James LaShomb, David Dullinger, Robert Dullinger.
Per Carole's wishes to be buried with her parents; Pastor John Stiles will officiate at graveside services for Carole: 10 AM; Wednesday (5/29) at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Maplewood, Minnesota.
