Chris Allen Yaritz, 62, passed away unexpectedly July 9th, 2024 at his home in Isanti.
He was born May 20th, 1962 to Paul and Marilyn (Slagel) Yaritz in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Chris worked many jobs in his life; the first being at White Castle where he loved the Turkey Sliders very much. He had other small jobs leading to working with a landscaping company, eventually landing a job at Kemps in 1988. He carried a CDL for 32 years working as a MilkMan.
From his first marriage Chris had three beautiful children, Savannah Marie, Timothy James, and Marissa Jane.
In 2008 Chris met his lifelong partner, Sharon Newsom. They shared many memories at their home in Forest Lake.
In June 2019 after almost 10 years together, Chris and Sharon married at their home. In August of that same year Chris was able to retire after 31 years of service at Kemps.
Chris kept himself busy throughout his retirement with odd jobs to help out neighbors and friends, or finding creative ways to store blow molds in the house for his wife’s obsession. Christmas was always a bright and fun time around their house.
2019 brought Chris into a new chapter of life as a Grandpa when Carter was born. In January 2023 his next grandchild (Mina) arrived.
In 2022 Chris and Sharon purchased a home of their very own in Isanti. He had a love for family and friends. He also loved finding projects to keep busy. He was a family man and proudly wore every title - Father, Husband, Grandpa, Friend. He would give you the shirt off his back. Chris will be missed by so many, too many to write down.
Chris is survived by his wife Sharon Newsom of Isanti; children Savannah Yaritz of Stacy, Tim (Chianan) Yaritz of Circle Pines, Marissa Yaritz (Tristan Moran) of Inver Grove Heights; grandchildren Mina Moran, Carter Yaritz; siblings Linda John of White Bear Lake, Steve Yaritz, Sheila (John) Thoss of South Carolina; mother-in-law Nelda Newsom of Pine City; sister-in-laws Mary (Dave) Ablan of Costa Rica, Shirley Somora of Pine City; brother-in-law John Newsom (Amanda McNeal) of Pine City; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
