Clifford Edward Anderson, age 77, passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2025, with his son, Jonathan, by his side.
He was born August 28,1947 to Dwight and Mildred (Stenten) Anderson in Minneapolis, MN.
Cliff graduated from Edina High School in 1965 and from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 1969. Cliff was a successful businessman, primarily for Cargill, in his younger years, living life to the fullest in San Francisco and Dallas before returning home to Minnesota.
He was especially known for his quick wit, sharp dress, and ability to make friends wherever he went. He was an exceptional fisherman, loved music and always kept family at the forefront of his life, maintaining close relationships with his siblings and parents.
Cliff is survived by son Jonathan Anderson (Ashley Rhoades); sister Patricia Hass; sister-in-law Marlene (Richard) Anderson; brother-in-law Geoffrey (Marilyn) Morrison; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dwight and Mildred Anderson; brother Richard “Dick” Anderson; sister Marilyn Morrison; and former wife Judy Anderson (Suffoletta).
We would like to thank The Sanctuary of West St. Paul, his home of the last several years, as well as Superior Hospice Services. Their steadfast care and support kept him safe and comfortable in his later years and allowed him to join the Lord peacefully.
He was loved by many, and his spirit, sense of humor, and radiant personality will be dearly missed.
Cliff will be buried in Pine City, Minnesota, following a private service.
