Dale R. Dickinson

It is with great sadness that the family of Dale R. Dickinson announce his passing.  Dale passed away of cancer on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at home with his wife by his side.

Dale was born July 5, 1944 in Gilmore City, Iowa.

At the age of 2, he and his family moved to the Henriette/Quamba area where the family farmed. Later they moved to Coon Rapids for his continued childhood. Dale and his wife Bernice of 46 years, have lived in the Braham area for the last 45 years and together raised 4 daughters.

Dale was a man of few words. He enjoyed keeping his vehicles in top notch condition, spending time outdoors, cutting wood, drinking beer, fishing and spending time with his family.

Dale leaves his wife Bernice; daughters Kelly Bond, Dawn Sundly (Thomas), Kathy Olson (Thomas), Christina Thompson (Brian); grandchildren Colton Bond, Taggart Bond, Casey Olson (Josh), Alex Sundly, Jacob Olson, Zackary Sundly (Jessica), Dakota Winther, Garet Winther, Paige Winther, Faith Thompson; great-grandchildren Avery Olson, Jaxon Lentz; siblings Alyce Kadlec, Darryl Dickinson, Dean Dickinson (Toni), Janet Downing (Roger), Nancy Dickinson, Linda Redden (Sam); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Florence Dickinson.

A Celebration of Life for Dale will be held from 4-8 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Brass Rail in Grandy.
