Daniel James Morris

Daniel Morris of Rush City passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 in Manitoba, Canada at the age of 62.

Daniel James Morris was born July 23, 1957 to James and Audrey (Crotty) Morris in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Dan had a heart of gold and he will be best remembered for his willingness to help out anyone in need. He had a passion for music, and loved playing his guitar with friends and family. He loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. His smile and laugh will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Dan is survived by his daughter Angela Morris (Brian Sperry) of Pine City, sons Andy Morris of Washington, Aaron (Kristen) Morris of Waconia, Adam Morris of Roseville; grandchildren Kaitlyn Dordal, Maria Sperry, Rylee Morris, Kevin Morris, Ava Palmer, Aaren Morris; father Jim Morris (Cheryl) of Lakeland; brother Tim (Suzanne) Morris; sisters Kathy (Gerry) Huspek, Julie McGary, Lisa (Sean) Uslabar; Life Partner Twilla Rinas and her children and grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dan is preceded in death by his mother Audrey Morris; nephew Dustin Morris; cousin David Morris.

Pastor Tim Renstrom will officiate funeral services for Dan:  11:00 AM Saturday, September 7th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Rush City.  A time of visitation and reviewal will be held from 9-11:00 AM prior to the service at church.
