Dean Paul Rothenbacher

Dean Paul Rothenbacher, 67 years old, went to heaven the last week of May 2026. He lived in Oakdale, Minnesota after growing up in Shoreview. He was a devout Catholic, a car salesman for many years who loved the outdoors. Dean loved to fish, ride snowmobiles and motorcycles, drive big machinery, fell trees and watch nature shows. Family was very important to Dean.

He has joined his parents, Bob and Ellen in heaven.

Dean leaves behind his sister, Margo Rothenbacher (Peter Schmittdiel); nephews, Parker Rothenbacher-Schmittdiel and Pierce (Lexi) Rothenbacher-Schmittdiel; great-niece Oakley Rothenbacher (7 months); aunt, Carol Rothenbacher; uncle, Terry (Sue) Rothenbacher; many other family members and friends.

Father Chuck Brambilla will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial for Dean: 11:00 AM; Monday, July 6, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rush City. A time of visitation is planned two hours prior to the Mass at the church. Dean will be inurned with his parents in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Rush City. All are invited to a light lunch at Bulrush Golf Club, Rush City.
