Donald J. Pearson, 77, of Braham, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at his home on July 26, 2026.
Donald was born in Mora, Minnesota, to Gordon and Margaret Pearson. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Donald built a career as a heavy equipment operator, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Donald found his greatest joy in spending time with his wife, Sandra. Together they shared a love of traveling, creating cherished memories as they explored new places and enjoyed countless adventures together. He also treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Donald is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Sandra; his children: Amy Jorgenson (Wayne), Nick Pearson (Danielle), Tim Johnson (Keeley), Jeff Johnson, and Shawn Johnson; grandchildren: RaeLynn Case (Dacota), Kaitlin Marty (Jake), Jazlyn Jorgenson (Logan Bailey), Lukas Schuh, Alyse Pearson, Sydney Johnson; great-grandchildren: Charlie Case, Callah Case, Tate Marty, Hallie Marty, Wade Bailey, and Willow Bailey; sisters Patricia Pearson, Kathryn Kent (Dan); brothers Thomas Pearson (Katen), Jerry Pearson (Violet); many cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Margaret Pearson; sister Joanne Schmidkunz; brother Gordon Pearson; brothers-in-law Paul Schmidkunz, Richard Rysdam, Jim Bostrom.
Donald will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the kindness he shared with those who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will be deeply missed.
Per Donald's request, there will not be a service.
