Gerald "Jerry" William Klinkhammer

Gerald “Jerry” Klinkhammer passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Estates in Rush City at the age of 92.Gerald William Klinkhammer was born April 6, 1925 to Frank and Iva (Brooks) Klinkhammer in Cogswell, North Dakota.  In 1941, the family moved to Owatonna, Minnesota.   Jerry attended and graduated from Owatonna High School.  On April 3, 1945 Jerry  and Jane Haberman were married in Owatonna.   In 1959, the family moved to a farm in the Pine City area.  He enjoyed working on his farm and also worked as a carpenter until his retirement.  He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed and always remembered.Gerald  is survived by his wife Jane Klinkhammer of Pine City; children:  Daniel (Anne) Klinkhammer of Troy, Alabama, Lucinda (Dennis) Fore of Hewitt, Minnesota, Steven (Gerry) Klinkhammer, Doug (Jodie) Klinkhammer and James Klinkhammer all of Pine City; grandchildren:  Aaron, Jennifer, Heather, Jillian, Heidi, Nicole, Abby, Trent and Adam; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Iva Klinkhammer, infant son David Klinkhammer, siblings: Helen (Francis) Schwab and Edward (Ludmilla) Klinkhammer.Deacon Mark Pulkrabek will celebrate Mass of Christian Burial for Gerald: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Beroun.  A time of visitation and reviewal is planned for Friday evening (4/21/2017) 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Swanson Chapel in Pine City and also one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Beroun.Funeral arrangements for Mr. Gerald Klinkhammer are entrusted with the Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City, Swanson Chapel.  www.FuneralAndCremationService.com
