Harriet Lorraine Mulvaney

Harriet Mulvaney, age 75, passed away on Wednesday March 8, 2023 at home.

Harriet was born April 23, 1947 in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late Winnie and Lorraine Michaud. She was the third oldest daughter, two sisters preceded her in death.

Harriet graduated from North St. Paul High School in 1965. After graduation, Harriet worked for Duling Optical in Maplewood and for the Fork and Cork restaurant as a server. In 1965, Harriet married Denny Mulvaney and together they had three boys, Dennis Jr., Darrin and David. In 1981, Harriet and Denny moved to their dream home in Pine City. Harriet worked at AAI, Lakeside nursing home, AtScott and Schaffer electronics.

In her retired years Harriet enjoyed car shows, casino trips and family time. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Harriet is survived by her husband Dennis Mulvaney of Pine City; sons Dennis (Elizabeth) Mulvaney of Grasston, David (Melissa) Mulvaney of Pine City, Darrin (Michelle) Mulvaney of Mora; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister Sandy (Bob) Jordan of Lake Elmo; brother-in-law Morrie Berchem; many other relatives and friends.

A heartfelt thanks to the St. Croix Valley Hospice staff for the excellent care and kindness extended to Harriet and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Winifred and Lorraine (Boche) Michaud; sisters Bonnie Weeks, Connie Berchem.

A gathering of family and friends is planned from 12-2 PM; Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City followed by a Celebration of Harriet's Life from 2-5 PM at the Heath-Perkins American Legion Post #51 in Pine City.
