Jerry & Sharon McDowell

Jerry and Sharon McDowell passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 very unexpectedly resulting from a tragic motorcycle accident outside of Hinckley, Minnesota

Jerry and Sharon are survived by their children:  Nathan McDowell of Chisago City; Marissa (Ryan) Wickard of Minneapolis, Aubrey (Steve) Wilson of Roseville;   grandchildren:  Riley, Dylan and Archie and Kayden; many other relatives and friends.  

Jerry’s father Robert McDowell; siblings:  John (BobbiKae) McDowell, Mike McDowell and Gene McDowell.

Sharon’s siblings:  Paul (Arlyss) Onken, Terrie Hulbert, John (Karen) Onken, Mary Jane (Bill) Thompson, Bob (Donna) Onken.

Jerry and Sharon were preceded in death by: Jerry’s mother Peggy McDowell; brother Don McDowell, sister-in-law Sharon McDowell;   Sharon’s parents Dr. L.W. “Woody” and Mrs. Ann Onken; sister-in-law Kris Onken.

Monsignor Aleksander Suchan will celebrate a private family Mass of Christian Burial for Jerry and Sharon at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pine City.  A time of visitation and reviewal for friends and family will be held from 4-7:00 PM Thursday, September 24^th at Swanson Funeral Chapel with a prayer service at 7:00 PM and 9:30-10:30 AM (9/25) at Saint Anthony Commons at the church.  Interment will take place 2:00 PM Monday, September 28th at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in New Brighton.

Per the family’s request, all guests attending in person are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing.  Thank you.
