Jimmy J. Walker a.k.a. Glen J. Martini formerly of the Brook Park area passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah, Wisconsin at the age of 67.
Glen Joe was born on September 21, 1950 to Calvin and Violet (McPheeters) Martini in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Glen served in the Army from 1967 to his honorable discharge in 1973. Later Glen legally changed his name to Jimmy Walker.
Jimmy is survived by his son Lee (Shari) Martini, daughter Lea Martini and grandchildren all of Alberta, Canada; sisters: Lynn (Dennis) Hanson of Brook Park, Laura (Paul) Kryzer of Brook Park, Leona (Ben) Piatz Bradford, Minnesota, LaVonne Springer of Sandstone, Lois (Dennis) Peterson of Brook Park, Michael (Jackie) Martini of St. Paul and Lorna (Jim) Norberg of Ogilvie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Violet Martini, brothers Patrick Martini and David Martini and brother-in-law Frank Springer.
A Celebration of Jimmy Walker's Life is planned from 3:00-5:00 PM Saturday, August 11th at the American Legion in Pine City. Military Honors will take place at 4:00 PM at the Legion. Interment will follow at the Brook Park Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the: Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City ~ Swanson Chapel.
