Joel Patrick Gavin

Joel Gavin of Columbia Heights passed away November 19, 2018 in Las Vegas at the age of 42.

Joel Patrick Gavin was born August 24, 1976 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Michael Gavin and Loni (Wohlwend) Pogones.

Joel is survived by his wife Lisa Gavin; daughter Caitlin Gavin and son Connor Dolezal; mother Loni (David) Pogones of Pine City; father Michael Gavin of Pinehurst, North Carolina; stepfather Tim Kubalak of Columbia Heights; siblings: Patty (Koby) Fechner of Forest Lake, Nate Gavin of Fridley, Cori Kubalak of Fridley, Ted (Jenny) Kubalak of North Branch; grandmother Jackie Wohlwend of Shoreview; many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Joel beginning at 5 PM; Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Kraus Hartig VFW Post 6587, 8100 Pleasant View Drive NE, Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Joel was wild about the Wild Hockey team; he’d be smiling knowing everyone celebrated his life wearing Wild Hockey attire.
