Judith "Judy" Mae Lutroe

Judith Mae Lutroe was born in Rush City, MN, on June 5, 1941, to Gust and Hildur (Peterson) Lundberg. She grew up in Rush City where she went to school, became a beautician, and raised her two sons, Dan and Rick Behrendt. She worked at Della's Beauty Shop in Rush City until she retired, with Della; who was her mother-in-law and dear friend.

She married Roger Lutroe on September 3, 1983. They were married for 32 years when Roger passed away. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her five precious grandchildren with countless sleep-overs and spoiling them any way she could.

She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, Eastern Star and Red Hat Ladies. Some of her happiest times were spent with her friends and family enjoying the flea market, casino and going out to eat. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Judy passed away Sunday (2/18/18) at The Estates of Rush City where she resided for the past eight years.

She is survived by her sons Dan (Denise) Behrendt of Rush City, Rick (Kim) Behrendt of Askov; brothers Jack Lundberg of Fridley and Richard Lundberg of Rush City; sister Nancy (John) Westlund of Forest Lake; grandchildren Nick Behrendt, Sarah (Blake) Behrendt, Ashley Behrendt, Rhiannon Behrendt, and Courtney Larsen; great-grandson Brayden; and many nieces and nephews.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband Roger Lutroe; parents Gust & Hildur Lundberg; sisters Barbara Carlson and Arlene Olson.

Reverend Glen Bickford will officiate at funeral services for Judy: 11 AM; Monday, February 26, 2018 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rush City. A gathering of family and friends is planned for 1 hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will take place at First Lutheran Cemetery in Rush City.
