Kenneth Raymond Sumner

 

Kenneth Sumner of Lindstrom was ushered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of 86.

 

Ken Raymond Sumner was born May 2, 1935 to Raymond and Edna (Halvorson) Sumner in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

 

Ken was a beloved husband, adored by his loving wife Carol, of 37 years. He lived his life, relationship, and faith in Jesus unapologetically. He was a loving and devoted husband, beloved father and proud grandpa. Known as a man of strong character with an uncanny wit that made those in his presence feel blessed. In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by his many children, grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Edna Sumner; brother Allen Sumner.

 

A longtime member of Chisago Lakes Baptist Church, Kens intimate relationship with Jesus was the focus of his life, that provided him peace beyond understanding in this lifetime and in the afterlife. 

 

Pastor Ben Gunderson will officiate at funeral services for Ken: 11:30 AM; Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Chisago Lakes Baptist Church in Chisago City.  A time of visitation and reviewal is planned for one hour prior to the service at the church.
