Kiya Johnson was brought into this world on July 16, 2002 and became our most beloved guardian angel on October 15, 2022.

Kiya graduated from Pine City High School in the spring of 2020 and soon after became a PCA where she touched the lives of many through her
incredibly helpful occupation.

Kiya deserved the world and was the happiest when helping others. Kiya’s big heart, contagious smile and beautiful soul will never be forgotten. The love that she gave will continue to live on forever.

Kiya Laurel Joyce Johnson is survived by her parents Diana Stromquist (Jordan Norring) and Jamie (Amy) Johnson; her sister and best friend Maddy Johnson (Brody Schell); brother Owen Johnson; step-siblings Jolene, Izzy, Lilly, Joey and Lj; grandparents Dale Stromquist, Donna and Rich Briski, Bob and Karen Johnson; aunts and uncles Jodi and Bill Chose, DeDe and Tommy Foster, Dale and Lisa Stromquist, Chad and Jessie Briski; cousins Jordan and Ean Chose, Ellee and Daphne Foster, Zayda, Dalana and Dale Stromquist, Rory and Quinn Briski; and her boyfriend James Brumbaugh.

Kiya was preceded in death by her great-grandparents and her beloved friend, Deandre Sydney.
