Larry "Flea" Carlson passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024 at his home in Pine City at the age of 66.

Larry Bennett Carlson was born March 16, 1958 to Keith and Charee (Watters) Carlson in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He was a member of the Pine City community since 1988 where he lived with his wife and two sons on Par Circle, by the Pine City Golf Course. Growing up in New Brighton, Minnesota Larry loved playing hockey, something he would later pass down to his two boys. As part of the hockey booster club in Pine City, Larry enjoyed several years serving at the corn booth during the Pine County Fair. He found his love for traveling across the country in the 80's and 90's when he worked as an original "cable TV guy".  Larry was an extremely hard worker and a dedicated family man. 

He is survived by stepsons Scott Filas, Adam Krebs; grand-boys Ryan, Jaxxon, Josh, Lucas and Gavin; 5 brothers and sisters; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Charee and Keith Carlson; wife Carla; daughter Heidi.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held 1-4 PM; Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Heath-Perkins American Legion Post #51 in Pine City.
