Linda Louise Spencer

Linda Spencer of Harris passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home at the age of 69.

Linda Louise Anderson was born April 28, 1951 to Sidney and Shirley (Sausen) Anderson in St. Paul, Minnesota.

As much as we will all miss Linda there is no one who can describe who she is better than her grandchildren.

Linda was amazing with her wonderful laugh and her warm smile. There was never a moment with Linda that you were not taken care of. From your favorite cookie fresh from the oven, a new blanket that she quilted or crocheted to keep you safe and warm to her excitement in her voice when you walked through the door made you feel as if she’d been waiting especially for you.

Linda took pride in taking care of her family and anyone who entered her door with a home cooked meal. It was amazing how quickly her smile and devotion to us could change our outlook. There was always a camera in hand to capture any memory and because of that we will never be without her smile.

Linda loved flowers, planting in her garden, quilting and anything creative with a needle and thread.

What we hope you can take away from this is Linda’s ability to live a life of joy and love through every circumstance.

Linda is survived by her husband Art Spencer of Harris; children Will (Sarah) Spencer of Rush City, Jessie (Sarah) Spencer of Cambridge; 4 grandchildren: Elias, Isabelle, Madison, Jaqulyn; siblings Dale (Vicki) Anderson, Jerry (Kitten) Anderson, Roger (Tenny) Anderson, Gordy (Tammy) Anderson; sister-in-law Vickie Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sidney and Shirley Anderson; brother Rick Anderson.

A gathering of family and friends is planned from 5-7 PM; Friday, December 18, 2020 with prayer sharing at 5:30 PM at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City.
