Louise Blanche Chalupsky

April 20, 1931 — December 26, 2019

Louise Blanche Chalupsky passed away at the Scandia House in Pine City at the age of 88 on Thursday, December 26, 2019.  Louise was a social, intelligent, funny, beautiful soul all the way until the end of her life on earth.  Special thanks to the staff at the Scandia House and St. Croix Hospice for their loving care.

Louise was born on April 20, 1931 to Louis and Lydia (Mikyska) Chalupsky at the farm in Beroun, Minnesota.  She was the first of four children.  Louise graduated from Pine City High School on June 1, 1949 and was the Salutatorian of her class.  She became a Bookkeeper and had a long career in this field.  She moved to various residences in Minneapolis before she settled into her own comfortable condominium in St. Anthony.  She lived there until she was unable to live alone anymore due to a diagnosis of Parkinson's, when she moved back to Pine City.  Louise had many friends and enjoyed her social life outside of work.  She loved seeing plays, spending time with her family and friends and enjoying time at Nye's Polonaise Room.  She was an avid Vikings and Twins fan.

Louise is survived by her siblings: Butch (Karen) Chalupsky of Las Vegas, Lorraine Kozisek and Lawrence (Laura) Chalupsky all of Pine City.  She is also survived by her nieces nephews whom she loved like they were her own: Tim (Karen) Kozisek, Kathryn (Dale) Olson, Karen (Bryan) Stumne and Kristen (Tim) Struss all of Pine City, Steven (Liz) Chalupsky of Falls Church, VA, Amy (Aaron) Perry of Baltimore, MD,  Jill Griffin of Santa Ana, CA, Nichol (Mike) Herzog of Auburn, WA and Paige Chalupsky of Brooklyn Park.  She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews and wonderful lifelong friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Lydia Chalupsky; brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Kozisek and her loving partner Charlie Kochta.

She will be dearly missed by all who loved her for her fun loving spirit and her generosity and graciousness.  You could never leave visiting her without her telling you how much she loved you and how thankful she was for the visit. Well Louise, it was always our pleasure.

Monsignor Aleksander Suchan will celebrate a Memorial Mass for Louise: 11 AM; Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Beroun.  A time of visitation for family and friends is planned for one hour prior to the Mass at church.  The interment will take place in the Beroun Calvary Cemetery next to her parents.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to: Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City, Swanson Chapel.
