Marcia Granroth of Rush City passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at United Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 73, surrounded by her beloved family.
Marcia Lynne Perry was born May 10, 1952 to Neil and Lorraine "Jakie" (Gorton) Perry in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated in 1970 from Alexander Ramsey in Roseville, MN.
She married George Granroth on May 6, 1972. They resided in Ham Lake for over 45 years. Marcia worked various jobs after the kids grew older, Optical Place in Forest Lake, Coon Rapids Chiropractic and Riverway Clinic in Anoka. Marcia loved to bake, do crafts, and watch her grandchildren in all of their activities. In her retirement years, George and Marcia moved to Rush City, MN. Marcia loved to be around her family, especially her grandchildren.
Marcia is survived by her husband George Granroth of Rush City; children Laura (Brent) Stavig of Rush City, Craig Granroth of Oak Grove, Jason Granroth of St. Paul; grandchildren Kayla, Haley, Logan, Leah, Kennedy, Addison; great-grandchildren Adelyn, Camdyn; siblings Eric (LeAnn) Perry of Cottage Grove, David (Marcia) Perry of Andover; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Neil and Lorraine Perry; brother Craig Perry; and in-laws Elmer and Drusilla Granroth.
Services for Marcia: 11:00 AM; Wednesday (2/4) with a time for visitation one hour prior to the service, all at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rush City.
