Marianne Susan Tracy (McManus) age 79, passed away suddenly on November 20th, 2025 in Mesa, Arizona.
Born on October 17th, 1946 in St. Paul, Minnesota to George and Helen McManus who along with her brothers Bill, Tom, and Michael preceded her in death.
A lifelong learner with a deep commitment to helping others. Marianne graduated from Derham Hall in 1964 and went to the College of St. Catherine and St. Mary’s University where she received her masters in Counseling Psychology, a testament to understanding and supporting those around her.
She had an adventurous heart that led her across the globe with Jim by her side - dancing through life together wherever they went. Whether it was snowmobiling or enjoying her boat rides at their lake home in Pine City, MN, Marianne embraced every moment fully. Bonfires under the stars were among her favorite ways to spend time with family and friends.
Her winters spent in Arizona were filled with sunshine and companionship while summers at the lake offered tranquility and joy. Marianne treasured time spent hosting parties for those she loved. Her light and laughter filled every room she entered. She enjoyed all of her hobbies, golfing, gardening, sewing and quilting, cooking, playing games, and being with her family.
A devoted Catholic throughout her life, Marianne had deep affection for her church community of Pine City. Her faith in God was a guiding light that shaped how she lived - with compassion and unwavering grace.
Marianne's warmth touched everyone who knew her. Her love for family was boundless, she delighted in watching her grandchildren grow and took pride in all of their accomplishments. Her presence brought comfort and joy. She was a steady source of strength wrapped in kindness.
May Marianne’s memory bring comfort to all that knew and loved her. Her spirit lives on in every shared story around a bonfire, every dance step taken without hesitation and every laugh echoing across generations.
Marianne shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband Jim Tracy. Together they built a family filled with love and laughter. She is lovingly remembered by her children Timothy and his wife Gaylene, Michael and his wife Kris, and her daughter Tara Tracy-Smith. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Mackenzie, Allyson, Vincent, Emma, Joey, Lucy, and her great granddaughter Nora. She is also survived by her sister Katie Buelow, many nieces and nephews, and fantastic friends.
Father Thomas Galarneault will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial for Marianne: 11 AM; Friday, July 10th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with one hour visitation prior to the Mass at the church in the St. Anthony Commons area.
