Mark Allan Rennick

January 1, 1967 — September 20, 2020

Mark Allan Rennick passed away suddenly at his home in Hinckley September 20, 2020 at the age of 53.  He was born the youngest son of Thomas Alexander Rennick and Betty May (Poirier) Rennick in St Paul, Minnesota on January 1, 1967.

The Rennick family moved to the farm east of Pine City when Mark was just a baby.  Mark always had a love of horses, just like his dad. He left the Pine City area as a young man to work as handler of draft horses for logging in the Mountains of Colorado. He also received a Farrier Certificate from River Falls, Wisconsin. For a time, Mark was a Barn Manager/Team Handler for Percheron Horse farms in both New Hampshire and Wisconsin.

Mark always had a love for the outdoors and logging just seemed to suit him. He held several logging positions over the years. Always the handy man, Mark worked as a general maintenance man in home set-up and repair for Woischkes Enterprises in Pine City in the late 90s.  He really could fix just about anything.  Mark struggled with chronic heart conditions that interfered with his ability to work in his later years. At this time, he was mostly self-employed and did a lot of scraping.

He is survived by his brother John Alexander (Clarie) Rennick and sister Mary Esther (Michael) Beck; nephews Dale Rennick, Jeremiah Rennick, Nathan Rennick and Matthew Beck; niece Miranda Rennick; great-nephews Isaiah Rennick, Maddox Rennick and Calvin Rennick; best friend Brenda Leaders; many other relatives and friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Betty Rennick.

A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, October 17th at Froggy’s in Pine City.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to:  Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City ~ Swanson Chapel.
