Michelle Doenz passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Hillcrest in Waco, Texas at the age of 43.
Michelle Leona Doenz was born on July 6, 1976 to Elmer and Andrea Doenz in Chisago Lake, Minnesota. Michelle was the second oldest of four children, and also known as the spitfire of the family. She soon got the nickname Chellie from a very young age.
Michelle attended Pine City Schools and graduated in 1994. Throughout her school years she played volleyball and the saxophone. She also participated in the FFA. Michelle had many friends and was also known as the life of the party. After high school, Michelle worked at Dennis Kirk until she found her true passion and went to school in St. Cloud to become a beautician.
As a beautician, Michelle used her artistic abilities to perfect hair, nails, and makeup techniques. While working, she could always manage to light up a room with her smile and laughter. When Michelle wasn’t at work, she would love to host and plan parties. She would cook generous amounts of food from appetizers to desserts. No one was ever disappointed. Michelle also took pride in her gardening of vegetables and flowers. Crocheting was another one of Michelle’s ways to express her artistic side. She loved to create gifts for everyone and put a smile on others faces.
Around twelve years ago, Michelle moved to Texas. She very much enjoyed living in the warm weather where there was no snow. Michelle wasn’t a fan of going out in the cold weather; she definitely preferred to be inside with a warm cup of coffee. While in Texas, Michelle lived with her three dogs, Tiger, Blu Steele and Junior. Her love for those dogs was like nothing else. She enjoyed doing everything with them as they were like her children.
Michelle is survived by her parents Elmer and Anna Doenz of Brook Park; siblings Donna (Gary) Bryant of Isle, Mike (Amy) Doenz of Brook Park, Aimee (Curt) Kubesh of Pine City; nieces and nephews: Lexus, Jenna, Colby, Ethan, Evan, Samantha, Tucker, Averee; great-nephew Tyler; grandpa Herb Fedder; other relatives and friends.
Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents Virginia Fedder, Florence Fedder, John Sr. and Leona Doenz.
