Nancy Mae Thorson

Nancy Thorson of Pine City passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her home at the age of 89.

Nancy Mae Held was born March 12, 1930 to Clair and Ethel (McGregor) Held in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Nancy is survived by her daughters Brittania (Rick) Sorgdrager of Pine City, Mary Thorson (Mark Fairchild) of Coleraine; grandchildren Ray (Felcia) Sorgdrager, Robin (Jack) Hinsley, Ruth (Phil) Thompson, Sushila (Mitch) Anderson, Trinayani (Michael) Freeberg; great-grandchildren Mercy, Eleanor, Amber, Nicholas, Sara, Dennis, Wyatt, Oliver, Gabriel; other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Clair and Ethel Held; husband Robert Thorson; granddaughter Rosie Sloan; sister Margaret Haidvogal.

Pastor Nigil Ali will officiate memorial services for Nancy: 11 AM; Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
