Norma Moses of Rush City passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 82.
Norma Jean Kriel was born July 12, 1943 to Norman and Oleen Kriel on a farm in Goodridge, Minnesota. She graduated from Goodridge High School.
Norma married Joe Sanfellipo, the family moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa, their daughter Tamara was born there. Her marriage ended in divorce, and she moved to Thief River Falls where she was employed with Arctic Cat. It was there she met and married Darcy Moses. In 2003, Darcy passed away, Norma sold the farm house and moved to Rush City.
She enjoyed her morning coffee gatherings, sewing, knitting, gardening (which included canning pickles), bingo, and watching the Vikings. Many Sundays she served as an usher at church services. She had a vast love for the outdoors; often you could find her enjoying a walk, shoveling snow in the winter months, mowing lawn in the summer, always ready to help a neighbor.
