Paul Eilert Janssen

A celebration of Life for Paul will be held 5:30-8:30 PM, Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the American Legion in Pine City.

Paul Janssen of Pine City passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at his home at the age of 81.

Paul Eilert Janssen was born March 8, 1939 to Eilert and Lucille (Nichols) Janssen in Pine City, Minnesota.

Paul is survived by his children Karen (Jerome) Misik of Pine City, Tom Janssen of Duluth, Vicki (Eddie) Janssen of Minneapolis, Tim (Amy) Janssen of McKinney, TX; grandchildren Maya McDougall of Minneapolis, Remy Janssen and Willa Janssen both of McKinney, TX; sisters Phyllis (Bruce) Falk of Braham, Nancy (Skip) Stevens of Pine City, Sandy (Marlen) Holmberg of Rush City, Sally (Vern) Valvoda of Pine City; brothers-in-law Delmer (Delores) Mattison of Jacksonville, FL, Jon (Kathy) Mattison of Lexington, KY, Lyle (Crystal) Mattison of Richmond, KY; 27 nieces and nephews; many more extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eilert and Lucille Janssen; wife Kathy Janssen; sister Mary Ann Wurm.

A celebration of Paul's life is being planned for this summer.
