Phyllis Ann Lee (a.k.a. Miss Phyllis to many of those who loved her) passed away peacefully on June 19, 2023 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale at the age of 76.
Phyllis Ann Lee was born in Forsyth, Montana on December 16, 1946 to Harold and Rosella Lee. Phyllis was an adventurous spirit throughout her life and enjoyed riding horses so much she actually had a horse live in her home as a child. Phyllis gave birth to her only child, a son, Vincent Law, on September 8, 1969. Together they enjoyed many adventures and made wonderful memories until the Lord called him home.
On July 17, 1997 Phyllis married the love of her life and soul mate Gary Mull. Phyllis and Gary were inseparable, where one would be the other would follow. Phyllis and Gary spent their years together laughing, dancing, riding motorcycles, visiting the casino, rooting for the Minnesota Vikings and many other activities; they were always together.
Phyllis worked at the Pine City Post Office from 1993 to 2011 where she made many wonderful friends. During that time, you could often find Phyllis dancing to some of her favorite songs played by the Hawthorne Brothers at Froggy's in Pine City. Miss Phyllis came to know and love the staff and patrons at Froggy's as her most beloved friends and honorary family. Through the years she attended with great enthusiasm; baby showers, birthdays, weddings, funerals, holidays and everything in between-if Phyllis was invited, Phyllis would be there with her beloved Gary always by her side.
There isn't a soul that Phyllis didn't touch once they'd met her. She was always present for anyone who needed her. Often times she would generously offer her advice, encouraging words, life lessons and unconditional love for everyone she held dear. Miss Phyllis was a light on this Earth-a shining glimmer of hope and kindness to everyone blessed enough to know her. She had a very close relationship with Jesus Christ and would hold her cross necklace as she spoke to him often. Phyllis had a wild heart and a wild spirit-she loved her friends, music, dancing, fancy matching outfits with matching hats and painted fingernails, her beautiful wild hair, her Wild Turkey and above all she especially loved her Gary.
Phyllis is survived by her loving partner for life, Gary; many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rosella and Harold Lee and her son Vincent Law.
A Celebration of Phyllis' Life will be held from 1-4 PM; Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Froggy's in Pine City.
