Rande Scott Swanson

Rande Swanson of Pine City passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 61.

Rande Scott Swanson was born January 25, 1961 to Norman and Lavern (Widstrand) Swanson in Rush City, Minnesota.  He was the youngest of 8 children.

Rande grew up in Pine City and attended Pine City Schools.  His life work began in roofing and later went to carpentry.

Rande loved his family, his dogs, motorcycles, the Minnesota Vikings, camping, a beer and having fun.

We all loved him dearly.  He will be held in our hearts forever.  Rest in peace little brother.  Fly high.

Rande is survived by his sisters Yvonne and Patty; brothers Richard and Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Cheryl; brothers Larry and Ronnie.

A celebration of Rande's life will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2-5 PM at the Rock Creek Town Hall.  Lunch will be catered by Mom's Cafe.
