Reverend Dwight Schmidt of North Branch passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Encore of North Branch at the age of 90.

Dwight Milton Schmidt was born May 2, 1931 to Milton and Sadie (Dosch) Schmidt in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Dwight is survived by his children Deborah (Terry) Baxter of Garner, Iowa, Anna (Ward) Gilkerson of North Branch, Stephen (Cindi) Schmidt of Inver Grove Heights, J. Paul (Phyllis) Schmidt of Clear Lake, Iowa, Peter (Lisa) Schmidt of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Daniel (Kelly) Schmidt of Windsor, Colorado, David (Faith) Schmidt of Pierceton, Indiana; 35 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; brother Phil (Lois) Schmidt of Grantsburg, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Sadie Schmidt; wife C. June Schmidt; grandson Titus Baxter; sisters Mildred (Richard) Peterson, Faith (Ed) Bowman.

Reverend Daniel Schmidt will officiate at funeral services for Dwight: 1:30 PM; Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Kost Evangelical Free Church. A time of visitation and reviewal is planned for one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will take place in the Kost Evangelical Free Cemetery.
