Richard George Buckley

Richard "Rich" Buckley of Oakdale, Minnesota passed away peacefully at his home June 2, 2025 at the age of 85.

Richard George Buckley was born April 2, 1940 to George and Marion (Bobzin) Buckley in Pine City, Minnesota.

He was a retired plumber and former business owner. His hobbies involved hunting, fishing and traveling, including many trips to remote Canada for fly-in fishing trips. Rich especially loved spending time at his Pokegama Lake cabin.

He was truly blessed with family and friends and lived his life to the fullest.

Rich is survived by his children Doreen Foster, Michelle Buckley, Bryan Buckley, Rae Jean (Jeff) Klooz all of Oakdale; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother Steven Buckley of Rutledge; sister-in-law Judy Buckley of Pathfinder Village; other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Marion Buckley; beloved wife of 64 years, Eyvonne Buckley; brother Gary Buckley

A private graveside service will be held for Richard at a later date.
