Post education, Bob worked for Vern Donnay Homes as a block tender and then the last 44 years at Aurelius Mfg. as an assembler.
Bob loved to going to threshing shows, the flea market, and auctions. You rarely saw him without an auction bidding number in his shirt pocket. He enjoyed dining at the local cafe's and supporting local businesses. He also loved spending time with family, friends, and his church family...and if you were lucky enough, he had a nickname for you!
Bob enjoyed the outdoors, riding his Big Red 3-wheeler, and spending time out at the hunting shack. Bob also loved the simple things in life such as his rotary phone, wind up watches, telling facts from his photographic memory, dark chocolate, watching old westerns, documentaries and anything on channel 2. In years past, Bobby enjoyed tinkering on his antique cars and tractors.
Bobby was a trendsetter with his stocking hat, plaid flannel shirt, and torn jeans. Bobby had the biggest heart, and he left a lasting impact on many people. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
