Robert John Kremer

We are heart broken and devastated to announce the passing Robert "Rob" Kremer Jr. He passed away suddenly on Thursday July 28th at the age of 59. He operated Kentucky Fried Chicken in the town of Pine City for 38 years. Anyone who had the chance to know Rob knew he was always cracking a joke, or making you laugh at his dry sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting agates, inventing ridiculous things, helping others, and mostly spending his precious time with his loved ones. No matter whom he met, he always left an impact on their lives, in one form or another. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. Until we meet again. Rob is survived by his wonderful parents Robert Kremer Sr., and Sharon Kremer of Pine City. His brother Perry Jurek, and his husband Tien Le. His daughter Samantha Schmidt, her husband Alex Schmidt, and their children Xander and Aleksia all of Pine City. A celebration of Rob's life will be held from 2-7:00 PM, Sunday, August 21st at the Novak-Milliren VFW Post #4258 in Pine City.
