Roger Carl Anderson

Roger Anderson was Born on June 29th 1974 in Durand, Wisconsin to Beverly Anderson (Dravis) and Sid Anderson.

Roger was a man of hard work, generosity, and endless warmth. Known for his open, un-judgmental nature, Roger loved to socialize and always put his family first. He was a deeply selfless brother, constantly stepping up to care for his siblings needs without a greedy bone in his body.

Roger spent his life working as a farm hand, bringing a strong work ethic and an unforgettable attitude to the job every day. His boss Milo fittingly nicknamed him "Smiley" because he showed up to work with the biggest smile on his face, day in and day out.

Outside of work, Roger was happiest outdoors with family. He loved fixing up cars, heading out to hunt, and eager to see trail camera pictures of big bucks. Some of his best days were spent fishing on the St. Croix River with his brothers and friends.

Roger’s constant smile, kind heart, and steady presence will be deeply missed by his siblings, family, and friends.

Roger is survived by his mother Bev Dravis of Mora; father Sid Anderson of St. Paul; siblings Brian Anderson of Mora, Jim Anderson of South Dakota, Darin (Destiny) Anderson of Crystal, Michelle Bostic of St. Paul, Nathan (Liezel) Anderson of South Dakota; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services for Roger will be on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 5 PM with a time of visitation 2 hours prior to the service all at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City.
