Shirley Ann Lindberg

Shirley Lindberg formerly of Milaca went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 11, 2019 at Lakeside Health & Rehab Center at the age of 93.

Shirley Ann Lindberg was born August 9, 1925 to Irvin and Annabelle (Janoushek) Dahl in Pine City, Minnesota.  She spent much of her youth and school years in Pine City.  She moved to South St. Paul in the 1950's where she lived for many years.  While raising her family she also ran an in home daycare. In her later life she lived in Milaca and enjoyed spending some of the winter months in Fort Myers, Florida.  Shirley loved to go dancing, spending time with her family and socializing with her friends both in person and on the phone. 

Shirley is survived by her son Larry (Bobbie) Ekness; daughters Roxann (Werner) Thiedemann, Sue (Earl) Sorenson and Karen (Clint) Coppicus; grandchildren Sean (Maria) Clifford, Baily Ekness, Reid (Sarah) Sorenson, Robin (fiancé Matthew Wolinski), Aimee (Brian) McFarland, Nicholas (Sarah) Coppicus, Christopher (Katy) Coppicus; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Elaine "Skip" (Flo) Dahl; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Irvin and Annabelle Dahl; husbands Harvey Lindberg and Fred Presley; brother Jimmy Tuma; granddaughter Taya Clifford; niece Tammy Tuma.

Pastor Stephen Blenkush will officiate at funeral services for Shirley: 3 PM Friday, January 18, 2019 with a time of visitation 2 hours prior to the service all at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.
