Timothy Bertram Williams

June 28, 1951 — September 19, 2020

Timothy Williams of Bruno passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends Saturday, September 19, 2020 at his home at the age of 69.

Timothy Bertram Williams was born on June 28, 1951 to Charles and Irene (Martini) Williams in Minneapolis.

Timothy (Tiny Tim) Williams served in the United States Army and completed 2 tours with honor in Vietnam (1969-70).  At the time of his honorable discharge he was classified a Spec 5.  In 1977, Tim completed the machinist program at Pine Technical Institute.  He worked as a machinist for many years.  He was also employed with US Fish and Wildlife Management; until the government pissed him off (imagine that); because he continued to work his landscaping “Twee Sales” and odd jobs.  Tim was truly a jack- of-all trade, he always said better to have all then just one.  He didn’t stop working until the day he died.  If you had the privilege to know him, you knew he was the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back.

Tim Williams lived his life spending time with as many family and friends as he could.  He enjoyed working on renovations and any other odd jobs that kept him busy.  He loved fishing as well as learning new things.  Tim liked his beer and visiting with family and friends.  He will be truly missed; we know he’ll be watching over us and he’ll continue to live through our memories.

As Tim would say “it is what it is”, if you smoke then smoke, if you drink then drink, have one for Tim and enjoy life to the fullest!!

Timothy is survived by his wife Ella Williams; son Bert (Nancy) Williams, daughters Brenda (Ivan Eklund) Hughley and Kathy (Randy) Robinson and Meagan Williams; grandchildren: Charlotte, Dustin, Michael, Nathaniel, Ashley, Brian, Alex, Cassie, Emily, Dalton, Abby, Christopher, Troy, Cody, Gabriel, Theodore; great grandchildren: Nevaeh, Raeann, Addison, Jessica; faithful canine companion Daisy; many other relatives and friends.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father Charles Williams and mother Irene Jensen; step father Kenny Jensen; sons John Timothy Williams and Brian Timothy Williams; great grandsons Landon Christopher and Xavier William; brothers Charles Williams, Leo Jensen; son- in-law Jeffrey Hughley; many more family members and good friends he’s now with.

A Celebration of Timothy’s Life will be held 5:00 PM Friday, October 2nd at the Village Bar & Grill in Pine City and 5:00 PM Saturday, October 3rd at the Bears Den in Bruno.  Private family interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to:  Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City ~ Swanson Chapel.
