ROESLER William D., age 78, of Pine City, MN, passed away peacefully at his home on June 26, 2025.

We are deeply saddened to share the news of William's passing. His loss leaves a profound void in our lives, one that words can hardly capture.

William lived a life rich in experiences and passions. His meticulous craftsmanship, evident in his detailed model building, showcased his dedication and precision. He found solace and joy in shore fishing, reflecting his appreciation for nature's serenity. A true Renaissance man, he seamlessly embraced diverse interests, from his early passion for hockey (scouting for the Montreal Canadians during his high school years) to his later musical pursuits. Even a career-altering injury could not diminish his zest for life; instead, he redirected his energy into music, sharing his remarkable talent and bringing joy to countless others. His love for classic automobiles, particularly his cherished silver anniversary 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, was another testament to his appreciation for beauty and craftsmanship.

However, beyond his remarkable talents, William possessed an unparalleled generosity and kindness. His infectious smile and uplifting spirit touched everyone he encountered. Above all, he was devoted to his family, providing unwavering support and affection to his children and grandchildren. The memory of his beaming smile at our Pinewood Derby races, his gentle "No, not today. Maybe tomorrow," – these are cherished reminders of his playful spirit and his wisdom in savoring each moment.

His journey of faith, starting as an altar boy at St. Pascal's and Harding High, profoundly shaped his character, fostering the integrity, generosity, and unwavering love that defined him.

William is survived by his spouse Addie; children Christine, Michelle, Chad, Billy, Crystal (Micheal); grandchildren; sister Carol (John) Rannikko; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents William J. and Elizabeth (Betty) Roesler; and brother Ed (Brenda) Roesler.
